People gets busy to make plans for long weekends. It’s a summer time and one additional day off from work will have 4 days long weekend. We usually don’t prefer to go on long trip particularly on long weekends. Air fares are getting higher and it’s hard to find your choice of hotel. It always gets overcrowded with tourists. We usually plan vacation after long vacation when you will find reasonable rates and you can enjoy each and every attraction/places.
I had lazy weekend, decided to go for a drive and enjoy movies at home. As I felt so lazy, my husband decided to prepare breakfast for us. It’s a 4th of July, so, the he decided to go with red and blue theme. And made delicious pancakes with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream toppings. I must say, It was so delicious.
He prepared the batter from store bought buttermilk pancake mix. I like to share the pictures here, it was so tempting and delicious.
From the same mixture he made chocolate chip pancake. I like the chocolate so, I prefer to have chocolate chip pancake over plain pancake.
You will need:
Whipped cream( Optional)
Chocolate chips( Optional)
The addition of fruits to pancake would be a tasty version for anyone, who doesn’t like to have raw fruits. The fruits give the refreshing look and little bit sour sweet taste from fruits give the crunch to this dish. You can also add honey instead of syrup, if you don’t wish to add syrup.
