Ganesha Art on Wood

Winter is here, and got time to do more DIY projects at home. Well, I had one wood palate, and I was not sure what to do with that. I looked for so many projects on pinterest but nothing impressed me much. I saw one Ganesha art design which was easy to draw that caught my eye. There was one project on  Pinterest; Thread Art Ganesha: The art using threads using nails on woods. But I wanted to do something different. For this, I draw the Ganesha by myself. It was fun project and took me few days to finish because I used many colors to give abstract effect.

For this, I used one wood panel or wood art. If you want to make you can get it from any craft store or even you can grab a wood frame or picture from thrift store. Clean the wood frame. Choose our favorite color and paint the wood. Once it’s dry, draw the picture using chalk. You can use glitter or any shiny craft material for this project. And done. For the shiny effect and to protect the paint I used glossy protective sealer. and then  highlighted the picture using permanent marker.

Truly saying, I didn’t expect this frame would look great on my walls. But after finishing this, I got so many compliments from friends and family. What are you planning to make for this holiday season?!!!!
