Coconut macaroon is one of the recipes which can be prepared in no time. When you have the strong cravings for sweets and you can not find anything in the pantry this is the one thing that can satisfy your cravings. Well, recently I found this macaroons recipe online, which requires only 3 ingredients. I always like to add few extra ingredients to any recipes to enhance flavor, Particularly, the ingredients which are healthy and mostly stored in the pantry for a long time. You can find many ingredients which you want to use it in one or other way but sometimes, one of the family members do not like them. So, in this scenario we have to find a way to use them in any dishes as a passive ingredient. Usually, this recipe requires condensed milk, cardamom powder and coconut flakes. But I used some dry fruits and dried ginger powder as well.
8 oz. Sweetened Coconut Flakes
1/2 to 1 Cup Condensed Milk( See Description below)
1-2 tsp Cardamom Powder
1-2 Tsp Dried Ginger Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract(Optional)
- Preheat the oven to 325F.and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix all the ingredients mentioned above.
- Do not need to add 1 cup of Condensed milk all-together to the mixture. We do not want runny consistency. Initially, Add little amount of condensed milk. We want dough consistency. So, be careful while adding condensed milk.
- Using two spoons, form heaping tablespoons of the mixture into mounds on the prepared sheets. Bake them for 20-25 minutes. or edges are golden in color.
