While I am writing this blog there is a snow outside, gloomy weather with no sunshine. The weather is certainly called for a perfect hot tea. And perfect time to share my first origami project. I find origami is an art, and not everyone can do it. It needs patience and lot of practice, which I don’t….:)..I have tried so many origami projects especially I was more interested in making paper flowers, but somehow I’ve never been successful to carry out the result I’ve always wanted. I find it difficult. And I was kinda impressed with the people who has this skill. In contrary, I’m determined to make some efforts to create something beautiful out of colorful papers. I’ve looked around for some tutorial online and talked with few friends who has similar interest like me. After a brief search, the book I found which had so many projects on how to make paper flowers. A title of the book was “Paper folded Flowers: All the skills you need to make 21 beautiful projects” by Elizabeth Moad. This is the most useful and amazing book out there. It has step by step pictorial presentation on how to make flowers; it was so helpful and easy to make. This is perfect guide for beginner. I never thought I could ever make paper flower, but I liked my fist attempt. It is not perfectly done, but I find it cute and simple. and good part is now I am confident enough that I can make paper flowers like this.
I hope this inspires you enough to make and learn something new, what you always wanted to do but you were hesitant to take a step forward.
