Today, I am sharing everyone’s’ favorite, healthy and tasty wintry treat. These fries has the perfect amount of sweet, spicy and little bit of bitter flavor. Moreover, the good thing about this recipe is if you don’t find fresh leaves, you can always use dried fenugreek leaves. This is one of the treats which can be stayed for a longer period of time on your pantry shelves and can eat with the coriander mint chutney. This is perfect tea time snack that no one can resist themselves without finishing the whole batch.
Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Chickpea Flour
1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 Cup Chopped Fenugreek Leaves Or Dried Fenugreek leaves
1 Tsp Ginger and Green Chili Paste
1 Tsp Chili Powder
1 Tsp Sesame Seeds
1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 1/2 Tbs Sugar
1 Tbs Oil for Dough and oil for shallow fry the fries
Salt To taste
Approx. 1-2 Tbs Water
Make it:
- In a bowl, take all the ingredients and knead a soft dough using 1 Tbs of water at a time.
- Divide mixture into equal portions, shape them by rolling in between the palms and fingers.
- Heat the oil in deep fry pan,deep fry the muthia few at a time on a medium flame til golden brown in color. Serve them immediately with your favorite chutney or tea or store in an air tight container once its cool completely.
